    The person in this position will:

    • Practice autonomously and in collaboration with other health care professionals to treat and manage patient's health problems.
    • Serve in various settings as researchers, consultants, and patient advocates for individuals, families, groups, and communities.
    • Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and manages illness and disease.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.


    Required Licensure/Certification:  NP, State of TN license, willing to obtain MS license and DEA, AOCNP preferred.

    Minimum Required:  1 year clinical experience functioning in a nurse practitioner role in a primary care setting.

    Preferred Experience:  2 to 5 years of experience functioning in a nurse practitioner role in a primary care setting.

    Education  Masters or Doctoral level as a nurse practitioner.
